4.3 5 Speed with another Engine?

I have a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado with the 4.3 and a 5 speed manual, I am wanting to swap in another engine, I was wondering if my 5 speed will bolt up to any other engines?

Thanks

Re: 4.3 5 Speed with another Engine?

Yikes! You have a 2006 and you already want to swap it huh?

Just get a different truck because swapping out a V6 to a V8, which is what you want to do I assume, leads to this ---------->

Trust me. I know. Oh and to answer you question, it should bolt up, but you would need a 06 motor. Plus do some research on your emissions laws and make sure you are out of your emissions warranty.
