Turbine Speed Sensor

My son has a 1998 Pontiac Bonneville that displays the error code for "no input voltage signal from the turbine speed sensor" The car runs fine, but what happens if this isn't fixed and how can it be fixed?

Re: Turbine Speed Sensor

Welcome to AF. Big job, it is behind the auxiliary valve body under the trans side cover. It could fail an emissions test if the cel is on, depends on the state.

Re: Turbine Speed Sensor

Check the trans connector make sure all the pins are good and not out of place. The trans should really run like crap if there was a problem. You should have it checked.
