D16 Swap...Now Clutch issues

I have a 1989 CRX Si. I recently did an engine swap with a JDM engine. In the process I installed a new clutch. Strated right up, went to test drive it, heard a looud pop while letting the pedal out. Would not go into gear again. I can shift it and hear the tranny changing gears internally but will not move. Pulled the tranny off and noticed the fingers on the pressure plate were not sticking out but were flat as if they were being held in by the throw out bearing. After removing the plate the fingers came out and look normal again. I am trying to get another new clutch but non of them look like my old one. The old one has a depper shaft where the splines are. I am wondering if the pressure plate went in too far and could not pop back out. Maybe I have to wrong clutch? It has 20 splines and the diameter is 200mm. Could someone have out a different tranny in with a different flywheel from a different year or car?

Here is old clutch.
