Question 2003 PT Remote and Key

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow turkeys!!!!! I need some help. My PT was purchased at an auction, did not come with a remote and only one key. Bought a remote from ebay that will work but was wondering if the only place to get it programmed was at the dealer. They want to charge $45 to program the remote and if I want an additional key for the PT, that will be another $45. Hey, I liked getting kissed if I am going to get SCR_W_D. Has anyone done this outside of the dealer????? I live in Metro Atlanta and could really use some HELP!!!!!!

Re: 2003 PT Remote and Key

In your owners manual it tells you how to do it. Its pretty straight forward as i had to do it to my mom's Neon for her. We have the same remotes minus a trunk button and a cruiser is basically a neon. lol.. As for the key, since they are chipped your pretty much gotta pay the $$ for that to have it done if you want more than just that one key.
