Smile 88 camero 2.8 L mpfi no fuel ?

Hope someone can help!!! I,ve changed gas car set for 2 years, new fuel filetr, fuel pump relay replaced. I,ve got spark at the plugs. no fuel line restriction. When I try to start the fuel pump does not come on even for 2 or 3 secs. I,ve checked to see if I have elect to pump doesn,t seem to be at all except for fuel guage.adsl shows 54 code reading Could it be oil pressure switch? I,m at a loss! Please send help

When you turn the key forward the pump should still prime no matter what the oil pressure is... Maybe you have a short in the wiring somewhere?

Check that pesky little fuse up by the battery?
