Hi.My lexus es300 150k .after it runs for about 5 min. yellow oil light comes on .What does this light mean ?It has oil up to level .
The other problem is transmission fluid leaks out .Drops down to exhaust pipe and makes some smoke .Is it common problems on lexus .Any Ideas how can I fix it ?Where to look? |

It could mean low oil pressure, a possibly serious engine problem.

It has good compression in cilinders .Red oil light usualy worst one .This one yellow .I don't have manual for this car ,don't know that yellow oil light for.

Ask at the dealer or order an owner's manual from the dealer.

No no no no no. No. LoL! The yellow oil light is low oil level. The red oil light is low oil pressure.
To check the transmission fluid level you must drive the car until warm, park on a level surface. Shift to all gear positions. With the engine idling, the transmission fluid level should reach the HOT mark on the dipstick.
