Question tach wiring

i bought a tach and im in the process of wiring it up its going on an 88 pickup and it says to hook it up to a negative wire on the distributor its a green wire comming from the tach and there it about 8 or 10 wire comming from the box ontop of the distributor.

Should be the black wire coming from the ignitor (which is mounted on the coil).
