Lightbulb MAKE IT STOP!! the buzzing that is.

I have a 1998 pontiac trans sport mon.3.4L. Recently a buzzing has started in the rear of the van on the passenger side. I have located the buzzer it is under the storage comp. behind the cup holder back there I have not unplugged it YET. Normally a buzzer means something it wrong. ANY IDEAS? Please and Thanks

Could it be the power sliding door control unit thinking the sliding door is open?

When the van is in park it stops but in any gear it is buzzing. I noticed that there is a round like "motor", i think near the buzzer. However the dash does not say door ajar. What do you think now? TKS AGN

Red face Re: MAKE IT STOP!! the buzzing that is.

I had that problem with my 95. My son suggested that I take some light grade sandpaper and rub the sensors inside the sliding door. When I looked at the sensors (where the door closes) the little round things looked a little dull - not really bad corroded. I took his advice and rubbed them lightly with the sandpaper - then they were no longer dull - and problem solved!
