Electrical help please someone??

Alright so i have kinda had issues with the power in my car, battery would draw down, come out to my car some mornings and the clock would read 12 like i lost power but would start up. The other night smoke like something was on fire or melting came from the dash 30 min later the car is completly dead, no power at all, go to jump it and i would get power but car would not jump at all, battery is complety dead now. Checked all the fuses and they seem to all be ok. Any suggestions, ideas on what it might be and how to fix would be most helpful. Thanx Aaron, my car is a 2002 monte carlo ss

Uh, smoke under the dash and you are still trying to get it to run, better track that problelm down first or no car if it goes on fire!!
