theftlock?
What is it and is it going to be a problem if I buy a new stock head unit? I have monsoon in my 2000 z28. Will it be a problem if I install an aftermarket?

Theftlock is a access code system for the stock radio. Everytime power is interrupted to the unit you must enter the code in order to use the radio as it 'thinks' it may have been stolen.

Yeah it's awesome, I've had every generation except first, I love it.
Ok. Well, mine won't play CDs anymore so I want to get a replacement. But I would like to keep it stock, so if I buy one off ebay, is there going to be a problem installing it?
