Question Mullenphn

Help My 92 bonneville won't turn over since the security lite started flashing. It runs fine and when I jump the started it starts but won't stay running. I know the started disable is activated but don't know how to reset the system. The fobs are long gone. Any help will be appreciated thanks

Re: Mullenphn

Ok, it starts and runs for a few seconds, correct? Vats/chip key, correct? Turn the key on the security lite stays on or keeps flashing?

Mullenphn: Yes that darn light keeps flashing. and yes the car has that vats. Although another source says its a passkey II which shuts down the injector whatever. Sorry I'm a good commercial electrician not a good mechanic. I read my key and the ohm reading is 1860 ohms which would be right (a number 7 pellet blank) so what now, sir? thank you for your interest it's is appreciated. Rob
