Music For a Psychotic Rage

OK, check it.

I haven't been on these forums in quite a while (mainly because my dreams of owning an uber-beautiful 2003 Hyundai Tiburon were shattered by revolving debt and a really, REALLY shitty job -- not the point here), but I'd like to know what you feel is the most angry, psychotic music you know of.

See, I have to commute to my shitty job on the public transportation system in Boston, MA (the MBTA -- again, not the point here) and people just drive me up the sheep-flocking wall. So to speak. And I've found that loud, angry shit helps get me pumped for work. So far my favorite stuff to listen to has been along the lines of Disturbed's "Down With The Sickness." But I need something angrier. Because when I'm pissed, they sound like, frankly, a bunch of pussies.

What I need is music that makes you feel like you're about to kill your mom. The most angry, psychotic, messed-up metal possible. And it has to be loud. To drown out the bus engines.

Now I'm going to continue drowning my rage in an ocean of Wild Turkey 101. Peace.

Re: Music For a Psychotic Rage

I dunno why but Kreator's "Violent Revolution" always seems to do it for me. Theres something in those thrashy riffs that makes you want to grab someone and beat them with a crowbar. I'd recommend either that song or also Kreator's "Impossible Brutality" both are awesome German Thrash metal examples

Re: Music For a Psychotic Rage

Tool - Ticks & Leeches
Tool - Ænema
Job for a Cowboy - Catharsis For The Buried/Entombment Of A Machine
Job for a Cowboy - Knee Deep
Buckethead & Bad Acid Trip - Funbus
Dimmu Borgir - Blessings upong the Throne of Tyranny
almost anything from Rage Against the Machine
System of a Down - Prison System
Blood for Blood - So Common, So Cheap
Lamb of God - Laid to Rest

not all of that is metal, but all of it should make you want to punch someone in the face and thrash around.

Re: Music For a Psychotic Rage

i agree with post 2, kreator are gods, and among one of my favorite bands. as well as lamb of god, any of their stuff is good. then of course their is the obvious choice of the great slayer, they have about 8 brutal albums, and 2 more that arent as good. thrash is prolly the bets route to go for fast and brutal music. sodom, death angel, destruction, anthrax, metallica, and megadeth are more obvious choices. hatebreed is some really good heavy and groovy music. pantera will piss you off as well. also try out some trivium, preferably the song "like light to flies". lastly if you are into symphonic black metal check out the band chthonic, they are taiwaneesse. their stuff is pretty hard to find. but from what ive heard itll get you going. the only place i could find their song on the net is their website though.

Re: Music For a Psychotic Rage

Stuff with blastbeats is my choice. Belphegor,Aborted or Leng Tch'e for example are good if you need fucking fast and brutal stuff

Bleeding Through anything by them. Brandon has one of the angriest voices I have ever heard.
