94 Astro No Blower
I have replaced the switch and the blower as I just don't know what the heck is wrong. The blower doesn't operate on any of the switch settings but when i take a meter I have power at the blower connection and if you shut the switch off the power goes off.If you hook up power directly from the battery the blower works.

Re: 94 Astro No Blower
Check the connections at the blower speed resistor and at the high speed relay. Monitor the voltage with the blower connected so you have actual load in the circuit. The resistor array will frequently appear to be intact until load is applied.

Re: 94 Astro No Blower
try turning the switch on and rapping the blower motor with the butt of a screwdriver and see if it starts. if so you will have to replace the blower motor eventualy. I found mine on the internet for $18 and kept doing the rapping trick until it arrived. My 92 was easy to get to, a few 7mm bolts was all.

Re: 94 Astro No Blower
Just FYI
It turned out to be two problems One was the relay mounted on the firewall above the blower for all the low speeds and 2nd the fuse for the high speed |
