need some parts

Does anyone know all the different sized hoses that are used for vaccum hoses under the hood? Anyone who has dressed the engine up with colored hoses?

But mainly... where can I FIND a braided steel radiator hose? I've googled everything I can think of and haven't found anything!

Re: need some parts

for vacuum hoses and engine dress up kits (sounds like barbie and ken dress up, lol), check out 3sx. i know they carry them.

as for the radiator hose, braided steel would simply be a covering to go over the hose. i would be summit racing would have something like that. also, i'm sure your local autozone would have some more ricer-ish looking stuff, but check summit racing first for the better stuff.

Re: need some parts

I would just get the Blue silicone radiator hoses from 3sx performance.
for the vacuum lines, go to either 3sx and get their custom kit, or MVPMotorSports and get the HoseTechniques kit for 3000gt.

Re: need some parts

Red, are the kits that MVP sells the same as the ones at 3sx and hosetechniques? I've been meaning to get a set but I wanted to blue setup and 3sx told me the company didn't make the blue bundle kit anymore!?! Anyone of them do free shipping?

Re: need some parts

They are hosetechniques kits, and I purchased a Blue one from them.

Re: need some parts

well even though the kit on MVPMotorSports is $118, it lists the sizes you need, so I think I'm gonna use Ebay for that. I'll check summit for the hose cover.

Re: need some parts

Yeah, but its good quality. I got mine for $70 from MVP...
Well he does sell it by the foot as well.
I would never go on Ebay for anything unless you want salvage parts... Buying stuff on ebay is like buying parts from autozone... The cheap rout isnt the best thing always, Its reasons like these the 3S market is so shitty.

Re: need some parts

The kit I listed has just about everything you need except for some of the smallest hoses.

LOL. they're stupid little hoses. if he wants he can go get them in China. hoses are hoses. its not like he's buying a ghetto funny looking timing tensioner off ebay to save a few bucks on a critical engine part. its just hoses.
