Just wondering what are your opinions on which to buy. A Buick PA Shop Service Manual or subscribe to a website such as ALLDATAdiy.com. I like to try and do most of my own car repairs. I would say that I am a weekend mechanic and I can fix many but not all problems.
Also what would you buy for a scanner. Just a code reader or a scanner/code reader combined? Any suggestions on which brand and model. If I buy the PA Service Manual are all 1997 thru 2005 manuals the same except for the yearly update? Thanks for your ideas.

AND the manuals up to 2000 are 50% off until December 31. I've bought Helm manuals since my 77 Cutlass (67 Mustang may ahve been by them also). They even sent update volumes (all three) without notice when there was a change in something in the 1998 LeSabre manuals. NO charge. |
