Help starting out

Im starting a new career and i have a maza miata mx-5 (is that a good choice for a 1st?) and i cant seem to beat the clubman races.. i need help... thanks

The Miata is a good starter car.

Just install sport tires after winning the Sunday Cup and selling the Trueno.

I went from the Miata to a Camaro Z28, which I upped to 425hp. Then, I got a Corvette Z06, at about 600hp. Then a Skyline R34 GTR Spec v II, at about 1000hp. Then a Lotus Esprit at about 1000hp. I then worked at it till I won a racing car, the Gillet Vertigo. Then I used that and other racing cars (The Gillet handles really well). Once I got an F1 car, I was set.
