CPU Protection problems...

In my 99 Grand Prix GT, I removed the old air intake and replaced it with a K&N system. Only problem is the air box holds and protects the CPU. I was able to break apart the case and keep the bottom holding for the unit and keep it fastened in place with some creative use of hose clamps. Works quite well actually. The only problem is now the unit isn’t protected from water or dirt around the connections. Has anyone else run into this problem while changing air intakes? Any suggestions on how to protect the CPU in the minimal space available?

Re: CPU Protection problems...

You will be fine. Just don't try and drive through 3 ft. of water
