95 Voyager Trans problem
95 Voyager transmission periodicaly seems to slip. When it does this the check engine light comes on, the speedometer quites working, and the automatic door locks do not engage. (Dealership says it is a linkage problem) I have not had a scan done to this point. 160k on vehicle. ANY opinions would be a great help.
LS It is 4 speed transmission (PRND3L) with a 3.3 V6. I checked the codes by using the check engine light method, it shows # 12 (Battery or computer recently disconnected) and # 15 ( No speed/ distance sensor signal). I am going to check ground strap and conections at solenoids and TCM and PCM. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Last edited by tempfixit; 11-20-2006 at 03:24 PM. |

Re: 95 Voyager Trans problem
UPDATE:
I checked and cleaned sensor connections, when I removed the solenoid pack connector I found moisture in the terminal, I dryed out the moisture and applied electrical grease and reinstalled. The vehicle has been ddriven approximately 1,000 miles without any more problems. ( The connection is underneath the radiator area close to engine) Hope this info helps someone else. |
