Not that many members own Concorde's here. If you have peeps that own them and stuff, tell them about this site so that they can come and chat.

I plan on spending about 2k on my 98 concorde. I am looking for a new chip, superchips doens't make one but anyone know what company does? I'm also looking for a new performance air filter, and anyone know good company for one? And lastly I wonder whats the max size of wheels can u get on a 98 concorde? I'm planning on going with biggest size with nicer thinner tires comapred to stock.

little info

I heard hypertech makes performance chips for concordes, only info I cna find, I'm gonna have to call some performance shops in my area (NE) and find out max wheel size and lowest prrofile tires (not too expansive) I can do. I'd like to find a cowl hood or maybe some type of ram air type hood for my concorde make it look sportier. Only reason I want to mod up my concorde is becuase my father owns a 2000 black lightning :finger:.
lemme know if any of you poeple happen to know any good or worth while mods. I'm also thinking of getting better muffler and new 1 in 2 out exhaust, and have the dual tips stainless with resonators in em for nice sounds ...

I own a 96 Concorde with a 3.3 liter. I've run as low as 7.6 for 0-60. But I want some mods, even though it's more of a cruiser. I'm think about a K&N, and new exhaust just for the cool rumble. Any sites/idea's? Thanks.

I've got a 2001 LXi. U used to own a '95 3.3 Liter. Only mod that I can think of is a K&N filter. If anyone can think of anything else, let us know. I'm going to look in the Dodge Intrepid Site - same car, but Dodge has more of a performance image.

Do most parts from a 3.5L intrepid work on the concorde? I'm assuming so, but I just don't know enough about the differences between them. I really want to beef up my concorde, and make a total sleeper out of it. I've got a bunch of idea's looks-wise that I am going to do to it, but I hate having All Show and No Go.

Talking I'm gonna start a chrysler concorde forum

I'm gonna start a Chrysler Concorde forum/site because so many people ask for them. Myself I was stuck with no choice of a car so i inherited my dads 98 concorde and i plan on hookin it up. I'm gettin a k&n air filter in a few days and i'm gonna add a nose-cover(bra), spoiler, system, exhaust, and some wheels. I'd also like to find a cool hood for it.

I'm lookin for guys to support me on my forum/site idea. Let me know.

I'm also lookin for euro lights or kits for a concorde. Peace.

Try ASE Performance Chips . They can modify your computer. The chip is soldered in and they reprogram the chip for performance and change shift points. Just remember to tell the dealer not to flash the computer to the latest revision or you will lose what you paid for.

I'm looking to mod my '00 Concorde. What I really want is something to eliminate the top speed limiter. I went to ASE's web site, but I'd like to get feed back as to whether those things really work. I noticed when my car was up on the rack, it looked like it would be pretty easy to give the car dual exhaust pipes. The bumper has indentations for both sides. That might be another option later on.

Thumbs up Chrsyler concorde

I have a concorde too and what I did, as I do see your point about not getting any sites that offer much help on powering up the concorde is this, I purchased a JET CHIP from http://www.jetchip.com/ and it boosted my horsepower by 13%. I also got a K&N filter which gives you approx 9% increase in HP as well. Now, my engine is a 2.7 liter one which comes with standard 200HP. I definately feel the difference. It kicks it at high end torque. Hope this helps. If you have a bigger engine, you will reap the benefits of the chip. The chip can be installed under your sterring wheel.

Concorde Horsepower

Stinky, interesting what you typed. Say, what kind of chip are you using? You mentioned that you have a chip as well. Thanks.

Okay, here is from my manual for 1999, suspect that it is the same for 2000. 1. Vehicle in Park. Ign on, . Using a previously programmed transmitter, press the unlock button on the transmitter, continue to hold down the unlock button . Wait at least 4 but no longer than 10 seconds , then press the panic button. Then release both bottons simultaneiously. You will hear a chime to signal tht you can proceed. Now, press and release ANY button on the new transmitter, as well as the previously programmed transmitter. You will hear a chime when the transmitter has been successfully programmed. You will have 30 seconds to finish programming all new transmitters A chime will sound when the 30 seconds is over or the ignition switch is turned to the lock position.
Hope this works for you, this is assuming that you have at least one transmitter that is working. You can program up to 4 transmitters. Browser509
