Help!!!! Plz God Help!!

Hey, I did something i probably shouldn't have. I am mechanicaly disinclined and tryed to use a book to help me fix my clutch (the part on the left handle, my shifter is fine but the clutch wouldn't pop unless it was held all the way down and had so much give it was insane). I took it off the handle bars and tryed to fix it but the pictures in the book looked nothing like what i had so now i a FUBRED. Any advice would rock. (oh yea she is a 1987 honda super magna in good condition (well aside from the clutch) )
