rebuilt title
today i was looking at 350z and i saw a performence edition with 18k miles on it but thing is that it had a rebuilt title becuase someone stole the rims/tires and a rear quarter panel and they want 16750 for it it is an 03 blue. and i was wondering if anyone has bought a rebuilt titled car.

do not buy that car. I work at a large dealership and will tell you that that car has very little or no value.think about it would the insurance company total it for wheels and tires? of course not, they would need the damge to be well over 60% of nada retail. warranty would also be invalid.

I'd drive it and check it out, if it seems okay, I'd give them my name and number, tell them if they get desparate to sell it that you will pay them half what they are asking because it is a rebuild title. Then walk away.
I did that once and it worked. It was a 97 Malibu(92K) in 2003 I know it was hanging around on this lot for a few months. they wanted 4695 for it. My offer was 3000. About 2 days later I got a call from the salesman offering me the car. |
