Skateboarding: Old man went skating
So I went skating last Saturday for the first time in like 6 months at a park near me. They completely redid the park and while half of it was done I actually was successful at landing some stuff. There were literally hundreds of little kids though which sucked. Why can't these little kids go skate on the street like I did when I was a kid and sucked at skating?
Anyway, I'm still a little sore 5 days later. Oh, but yesterday I got to see the Flip team at the park for a demo. Bob Burnquist wasn't fairing very well on the street course. But Rune Glifberg and Mark Appleyard were freakin' awesome! Got to see Rodrigo TX do a couple kickflips and that was about it. Oh yeah, I got to see Lance Mountain too! Even snapped a photo of him before I left ![]() I think I'm going to try and skate more often... nothing crazy but enough to actually not be so sore afterward. Being at that demo and seeing those skaters really makes me wish I had a career in the Skateboard Industry...

Re: Skateboarding: Old man went skating
So I'm going to try my luck again at the park tonight. I hope there aren't a million kids there. It's a school night so hopefully they're at home doing their homework...
