Is it better to drift with an STB or without? Because you know...it strengths the chasis and stuff...

Re: Strut Tower Bar good for drifting?

uhh well i doesnt really matter. I mean sure it serves a purpose. But its a 100 dollar item, put one on and if it doesnt seem to suit you for what else is done to the car then take it off until that aspect needs to be adressed.

Re: Strut Tower Bar good for drifting?

it doesnt hurt to have them. judging by your posts (no offense) you could use a little more research on drifting..

Re: Strut Tower Bar good for drifting?

there are 2 strut bars you should consider. the first is the 20$ ebay strut bar. its fine for most people, and it does stiffen the front end up a little, plus is cheap. if you want a real bar, theres really only one choice: okuyama carbing. end of story.

Re: Strut Tower Bar good for drifting?

Front strutbar promotes a bit of understeer, rear oversteer. You probably won't see a difference judging by your post.
Generally they are made to improve handling, plus if/when you slide into a curb you can damage it, so if I were you I wouldn't spend money on something that won't make much of a difference in your application, and might/will get destroyed.
