97 dohc to 96 sohc engine swap need help

hey guys,
newbie here trying to solve a prob. i recently blew up my 97 neon racing and have a replacement motor but need info on a motor swap.i need help trying to figure out whether a 97 dohc manual tranny will bolt up to a 96 sohc engine that had an auto tranny. both engines are the 2.0. plz help!!!!!thanks,

It will bolt up just fine...no problems.

ii am also taking the cpu that is with the sohc but it had an auto tranny will this matter? i have the old cpu for the dohc cpu but it was a manual tranny. Is the only difference going to be the position of the rev limiter?

The tranny bolts up fine.

You will need a 96 Auto PCM to match the engine.
