New Member, sharing artwork
![]() Hi eveyone, I have been a regular visitor to automotive forums and have decided its time I should sign up and show my art. There are some seriously amazing artists here which I am no competition against. This is quite a big post for images, sorry guys ![]() Ill try and get a variety of my artwork to show: Heres a few of my cartoon cars which are fun to draw, even if they dont turn out very professional looking: ![]() ![]() ![]() This next car is my car (Toyota Sprinter marino) ![]() ![]() And now here are my pencil renders of cars from reference pictures: The first one is my car again with some mods. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This next one is completely my own design of a Supercar: ![]() And I went ahead and rendered it in colour: ![]() Check out some more of my artwork over at Showroom 3 I keep most of my drawings there and update often. Also I was wondering if it possible to make money of this hobby, even just a little? As I am in debt at the moment. Feedback is welcomed

Re: New Member, sharing artwork
Ok Ill tell ya 1 thing Try to paste/post ur pics 1 under the other.
people here whine about having to scroll sideways. Ur cartoons are awesome . cartooney but ya kno what ur lookin at. i knew what each car was. some times artists can lose ya in the over cartooning of things. Does that make sense? #3 Ur pencil stuff fabulous!. Ur "My Toy" is phat. The tire tread work is excellent. the camaro also top shelf. The rear end of the viper a lil out of shape. but still nice. The 2 nissans are very well done also. Ur concept is sweet. Keep postin keep drawin. |

The colored drawing looks very awsome
I like all the detail and the dif colors in the seat, keep it up , You could sell print of your work, just start a website, i made my website for my artwork from scratch in about 5 days, and its about 8 bucks a month for the name and the hosting, theres ways to get free ones if you dont have the money, then you would just need to find a place that makes prints like a copy shop or a advertising place, or you can just get the word around and see if anyone is interested in paying you do draw something, like for a catalog cover for some company, etc.

And frankly, you don't have the skill where your at now. You are off to a great start, your shading technique is underdeveloped, but not bad. In all of your work with the exception of the color supercar, you need to add more contrast. Darker darks and lighter lights. Also invest in some tortillions/stumps to work on blending your shading to get a smoother effect. You have a good eye for accuracy, but not so much in the details. The grilles, hood scoops, and headlights all leave something to be desired. It seems as though you are in a rush to crank out as many pieces as possible. They are good, but they are not finished. Also, work on your wheels. You have a lot of elliptical inaccuracies, and a lack of detail throughout. Keep practicing, read the tutorials, and you will get better. Good job
