Smile Windshield wiper problems.

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I have posted anything, but here is my problem. Got into my 97 wrangler 4.0L to go home from work and turned on the windshield wipers. They wiped once, returned to the park position and that was it. No humm no nothing. Checked fuse behind glove box and it was O.K. I manually moved the wipers a little to check for linkage binding and couldn't move them. The wiper switch has 3 speeds with delay. I was wondering if there was any way to troubleshoot if it is the switch or the motor? I am suspecting since I all of a sudden I don't have any speeds that it is the switch. Would this be a the first suspected part to replace? Thanks in advance to any info. I did do a search in this forum and no previous posts seem to mention anything. Thanks Again....

OK HERES AN EASY WAY TO CHECK.

TURN YOUR CAR ON, ACCESSORIES ONLY(NO ENGINE TURNING).
TURN THE WIPERS ON HIGH. LIFT THE HOOD AND SEE IF YOU CAN HEAR AR FEEL A VIBRATION UP ON THE OUTSIDE FIREWALL. NO VIBE, IT'S THE SWITCH, VIBE, ITS THE MOTOR
