I'm looking at buying a 66 coupe that was converted from a V6 to an 8. Anyone have some hints on what to look for.

They were I6's not V6's. And why are you looking for one that was swapped?

the opportunity has presented itself at a very low price. Am I opening up a can of worms I won't be able to deal with is the question i'm askin, so what do you think

I misread your question at first, I thought you were going out looking for a car that was swapped. If it was done correctly there shoulden't be any problems though.
