just wondering how people here go about detailing the lug nuts? they're tricky little gits on some wheels and i usually go at em with a toothpick.
any easier ways that won't give me a hernia? |

If the lugs are recessed, a toothpick with a little ball of paint at the end will do the trick. You can wipe away the excess paint with isopropyl alcohol-dipped cotton without affecting the inside.

I like to use ink washes on wheels. In the UK Games Workshop do a range of paints for their lead miniatures that includes loads of different colored inks, their black is very good. Just whash it onto the wheel and wiipe off the excess.
Or leave it on to replicate the blank gunk all over my alloys cause I don't clean them enough... |
