What are the best, safest street racing experiences you've had so far?
Irrespective of the location (except for driving on any professional car racing track/s, which is excluded) what are the best or most interesting experience/s you’ve so far had safely speeding (in either your or anyone else's car) on any normal metropolitan roads or streets (without injuring anyone, or managing to get caught or fined by the police) and please elaborate on what the hell happened in the (humorous or serious) situation/s.

This one time, I was at a red light. It suddenly turned green though, and I slowly, cautiously eased it up to 45, which was the designated speed limit. To my surprise, dozens of cars were right there with me, which led me to believe that I was somehow in the middle of 4 fast 4 furious.

Re: What are the best, safest street racing experiences you've had so far?
Well I was coming home from Vegas, where I won 3 grand playing craps....so I was celebrating. After I finished off my first case of Molson XXX, I switched over to Barcardi 151. In between drinks, while snorting an 8 ball of coke off the dash, I looked over and saw a Dodge Viper GTS pacing me in the right lane. The driver was young...and as I looked closer, I saw him snorting coke off his dash as well. 'Wow, he must have won too!', I thought. Being that we were both still in competitive and victorious moods, we decided to race 60-170ish.
To be honest, I forget who honked the race down, because I've since smoked entirely too much weed, but when he hit it, his tires spun and I jumped out into an early lead. I redlined 3rd and powershifted into 4th. Halfway through 4th, he caught up and flew right by. Realizing I was gonna lose, I yanked out my boost gauge and started pouring 151 into the vacuum line. Alcohol injection!!! All in one instantaneous motion, I shifted to 5th, and spun teh dial on my boost controller, cranking it up to 23psi. 'Hold on b!+ches!' I yelled to the strippers I had kidnapped in my trunk. ($300 a lap dance...haha yeah right) I had taken my eyes off the road for a slight second in all the alcohol draining, boost dial twirling, stripper warning action, and I didn't notice the Nevada state trooper we had passed at approximately 155mph. I did however, notice I was gaining on the GTS. When he saw me catching up, and the blue nad red lights in teh distance, he veered off the road and hid behind some big spiny cactus. I however, figured I'd have a hard time pinning the cocaine all over my dashboard nad nose on the strippers tied up in the trunk, so I kept going. Shifting into 6th gear I approached 175,176,177,178.....179..........180......181..... SWEET!!! I could barely see the blue nad red lights in the distance....no fine or jail time for me! ![]() As I neared 190, I cracked open teh next case of Molson to celebrate another job well done. "good job self!", I told myself. I continued on, and at that speed it took about an hour and 20 minutes to reach New York, of course i did have to stop for gas a few dozen times...but it was cool...I still had ~2 grand saved for gas and tolls. That was probably my safest street race in recent years. Seriously, street racing isn't safe, it's a calculated risk, and if you are going to do it, at least use your head. If you want to read stories of street racing, you have found the right place...the street racing section. However, the street racing section is for exactly that....street racing. This is the 2nd time you've asked one of these open ended questions in here. If you are deadset on asking such questions, please take it to the non-specific section.
