91 chevy lumina z34 engine swap
my z34 was my first car and i blew the engine twice. i want toput another engine in it but i dont want to put another lumina engine in it, turns at the z34 3.4 liter engines are faulty. someone told me about a monty carlo 3.8 liter engine would fit but i dont know if it would someone help please.

Without extensive modifications, you cannot put a 3.8 in that car. The cradle, engine/trans mounts, ECM, underhood wiring harness, transaxle, etc... would all have to be changed. A complete running 91 Regal GS (the only first gen W-body that was offered with the 3.8) would be required to make the swap. My best suggestion to you would be to get rid of that car if you don't want another 3.4 DOHC and get something else.
