rear shocks

i have hinstalled new rear shocsk and was wondering taht i now hear a rattling noise when i go over bumps and do i have to change those springs as well?

Upper shock mounts (in 94-older) and strut mounts (in 95-newer) J-bodies are a common rattle issue. Changing the shock/strut without changing the upper mounts almost always results in a rattle.
