95 power window intermittent

Hello all. I've been reading for a while and this forum has helped me with several issues. My current stumper is that my driver's side window "freezes" and stops when I try to roll it down, or up. It moves about a centimeter, and then won't go up, or down anymore. When it first started happening, the window was in the middle and I couldn't push it up or down. I replaced the window switch assembly about 5 years ago, and I doubt it's that. I've repaired the wires in the door jamb loom, although they had only affected my power seat adjustment and door locks. From my reading here and at ACNA forums, it could be a couple things: Adjustment screw, relay, motor, guide wire, gear. I think it's the motor, which might actually just be the adjustment screw, but I'll check that when I take it out. Three things...

How do I take the window motor out? I've tried it before, and it didn't want to come out, even when I loosened the bolt.

Anyone had good or bad luck with any specific manufacturers? Seems like there are $40, $60, and $80 options, and then higher.

Anyone know the OEM part number or common part numbers? GMPartsDirect.com and Rockauto.com seem cheaper than the local guys, although they weren't for my cracked radiator... (O'Reilly was $100 less for the same radiator as everyone else. Cool.)

Again, thanks for all the help previously. Hopefully this will be useful to others.
