Smile 95 aurora

my service engine soon light comes on and causes the transmission to shift hard from park to drive or reverse. the shifting seems normal through acceleration. I have taken it to two auto zones and their machine gives them a "will not link up" reading. When the car is cold the light goes off but comes back on after about 15 minutes of driivng. Got any suggestions, other than selling the car? (haha)

Re: 95 aurora

n00b... =) Turbine speed sensor is your culprit.
And you cannot read 95 by any other scanner. Only GM OBD1 ALDL compatible, like AutoXray, Actron or Snap-On.

what and where is this located. How can I replace it and app how much does it run. Will this keep my cruise from working? Lot of questions, really appreciate the input.
