Question 1997 Suburban ran yesterday won't start today

!997 Chevrolet Suburban, K-1500, 5.7l V8, 140,000

Drove the 'burb twice yesterday in cool rainy conditions and it fired right up and ran fine. This morning went out to start and would turn over for about 2 seconds and run rough and then die. In the last six weeks have replaced plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, coil, ignition control module, fuel pump, fuel filter, and battery. After the problem today pulled out plugs and looked black and wet with gas. Put in new AC Delco plugs and then wouldn't turn over at all. Tried an EGR valve after speaking with a few people, but didn't work either. This model has the throttle body injector not multiport and when the key is in the run position their is a clicking under the throttle body on the driver's side. Pulled one plug out and had spark so don't think its a distributor problem although one person I spoke with who is moderatly knowledgable said that he thought the spark should be almost constant, while I think it should only spark intermittantly. Looking for any suggestions don't know whether to go after the distributor, the injectors, or the computer. I have someone that is supposed to bring a computer tonight to see if its giving any codes, but wanted to try to get some input in case that didn't work out.

Thanks in advance for your help.
