89 Ranger: Hazards works, but no turn signals.
89 Ranger: Hazards works, but no turn signals. I don’t know what to say but thank you for any help. I did replace the flasher relay in the fuse panel although I felt like it could not be it because the hazards are work. All other lights are working. There is no relay clicking with the turn signals. I have changed out parts on my vehicles but I have very little experience working on vehicles. I don’t have an owners manual. What goes in the empty slots in the fuse panel? http://www.geocities.com/bible101a/rangerfuses.jpg Last edited by Luke 22; 11-13-2006 at 10:34 PM. |

you might have to replace your turn signal switch. you can go to any part store and buy a manual. There are around 17.00. But it is definitely worth it.

Re: 89 Ranger: Hazards works, but no turn signals.
My 97 Taurus had the exact opposite problem -- hazards wouldn't come on for anything but the turn signals worked... most of the time. Sometimes they'd just flicker so fast it sounded like a mouse on crank's heartbeat. I had to replace the multifunction switch, but everything returned to normal then.
Your problems sound like you need to do that too -- I agree with Elizabeth0365. Good luck! |

I had to replace the turn signal module on the steering column.
