PCV Valve & Tire Pressure ?'s
2001 2.4L
Does this car have a PCV Valve and if so, where is it located. Also, what is the correct tire pressure for this vehicle (no sticker in door jam). |

Re: PCV Valve & Tire Pressure ?'s
I believe it's on the front of the motor under near the intake manifold. Don't recall exactly.
As far as tire pressure, typically between 32 and 35PSI is normal. |

Re: PCV Valve & Tire Pressure ?'s
PCV is built into the 2.4L engines. There is no valve to clean or change out.
Tire pressure is supposed to be 34psi on the Alero's. However, that is for the stock tires. It may be slightly different depending on what brand or size you have on the car now. Every tire should have the specs on the sidewall in very small black print, close to where the tire and wheel meet. - Jeremy |
