my vk needs fixing..

my vk has a few problems that need fixing...
such as:
1) wen i switch the engine off the car splutters and keeps running... wats wrong with it and hw do i fix it??
2) my hazards dont work unless i unscrew the button halfway, push it in then turn an indicator on.. wats wrong with that?
3)ok one of my butterfly valves is stuck open adn a spring is missing... do i get it fixed or is it cheaper to just buy a new one... if fix it where can i get it dont and how much would it cost.. if replace it where can i get one and how much...
i think that will be all for now..
any help would be appreciated
ricky

Re: my vk needs fixing..

1) The carby probably needs to be rebuilt or replaced. It is causing pre ignition from too much heat in the combustion chamber so it keeps running even with the spark plugs firing. In other words, it needs a tune up.

2) Hazard flasher unit has failed or the wiring is shorting out seomwhere.

3) Sounds like the choke is stuff which is most likely causing problem one. Get a secondhand carby fitted and save yourself the hassle.
