You got it Jay. I don't know much about this car at all. I assume it was a Celica block around 2.1 litre. Dome's own site doesn't have much info either.

I have the engine code for this floating around some where, it's in a book I have on the XJR Jaguars. It was basically the same engine they used in the 88 Toyota that raced the Jags at that time. From memory it is based on the Celica 2.0 block, I think punched out to 2.1/2.2 litres. When I find the code I'll let you know.
I'm working on a resin of the Rod Millen Pikes Peak Celica at the moment which runs >800Hp out of similar engine. Saw it tunat Goodwood this year and it sounds just awsome... |

For its turbo and twin cam setup, it's either 4A or 3S, but the legendary 3S, which is powering the JGTC Supra even today, is too new for 84, so it must be the 4A-GT.
Here are some useful links. http://www.tte.de/ http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/P...ct/Engine.html |

According to Ian Bamsleys book on the XJR cars, the Toyota engine in 88 was the 3S-GT, the motor looks substantially similar to the 84 motor so it may have had the same code...

thats a 3T-GTEU (1.8 twincam twin spark Turbo) you can tell because it has twin spark plugs on each cylinder, same they used in the Gr.B rally celica. They were pumped out to 2090cc.

The Gr.B Celica used the 4T-GTE, which I think was a race version of the 3T(1.8l)
Toyota also had another race engine around which was called the 503E? or something similar, which the 3S was based on when it came out in '86 More than likely that was the 4T though. |

935k3, I have some questions...
1. Did the engine come with the kit or did you put it in there? 2. In front of the radiator/oil-cooler (it's black), it looks like a blow-off- valve, but I don't see any traces of a turbo anywhere 3. Can you plese show us pictures of the box, and tell us the complete name of the kit I'm really interested in this kit now that I see the engine/suspension work.
