VHS to DVD recorder

Hey all I was in the market this season to purchase a VHS to DVD recorder for my parents. My question is has anyone had experience with these devices and can hey recommend a good brand.

Thanks,
Brody

Re: VHS to DVD recorder

A VHS/DVD converter becomes useless after all of their tapes are converted to disk. I'd recommend Pinnacle Studio and Movieboard or anything similar for your PC. It lets you convert any type of video or audio to almost any format you need, and you can edit, add chapters to DVD's etc...

It's much more flexible compared to just a VHS/DVD converter...and it'll cost less.

But if you're locked into a VHS/DVD recorder I always buy Sony.
