Completed C6 Corevette
Here is my completed Revell 2005 C6 Corvette. The paint is tamiya red metallic. I painted the wheels silver for a more realistic loo. As well I cut out the molded in grill and replced it with some mesh I had leftover from a tamiya kit. The engine was a disaster as I could not get the hood closed with all of the parts installed. I decided not to finish the engine and I will leave the hood closed for good. The rest of the model is pretty much box stock.
Thanks for looking!

Re: Completed C6 Corevette
just take out the engine and use it in another project to spice things up a little.. otherwise clean build by the looks of things.. well done

Re: Completed C6 Corevette
Looks good despite the kit's efforts to foil your attempts. Keep up the great work, and I'm looking forward to better pictures of your future builds. Also, a Sharpie or other permanent marker is good for the rubber "seal" around the headlights, if you use a brush you end up having a really wide border. It looks great, nonetheless.

Re: Completed C6 Corevette
Yeah...I'm still working on my photo skills. Learning the ropes of the digital camera age. I actually masked off the headlight covers and sprayed the black trim. I had a few minor scratches in the black in the headlight buckets themselves that I wanted to cover up. That is why I made the trim a little thicker.

Re: Completed C6 Corevette
Thats pretty cool. I was wonder if it was worth buying. I figure it is as long as I can get it to look as good as this one. Good job.
