Did chev make some 2000 Impalas without ABS?I just bought a 2000 and it dosent have ABS,I found that weird as chev allways had abs on all their cars.

There were 2000 - 2005 Impalas delivered without ABS. Not all Chevy cars had ABS either so that is an invalid assumption. For GM 'W" body cars the GM RPO code for ABS is JL9 and can be confirmed by looking at the SPID label on the back of the trunk lid or spare tire cover.

Just FYI, Most if not all non-abs Impalas were originally Police/Taxi/Fleet vehicles.

According to GM it was a fleet vehicle,does this mean a rental??
