Got quote for custom exhaust - advice? - i know there is PLENTY of that here ;)
OK peeps...I got quoted $263 for fresh pipes (2.25") from the cat-back and a "turbo" muffler - do they flow better than regular mufflers??
How does this price sound? I just don't have $500 for a Thermal R&D

sounds good and the turbo muffler just probly has 3" piping inside it unlike a regular muffler which may have 2" or 2.5" piping

i got my custom 2-1/4" mandrel bent piping for $200 at a meineke

maybe you could do better at a local owned shop. i got a quote for 2.5 inch cat back mandrel bent pipe for 100 bucks and taht includes any welding and misc brackets etc.

i bought my muffler seperate & had 2.25" piping from cat back + a resonator for $250

u all got raped man i paid $65 at a local import shop for my 2.25 inch straight thru muff and a local shop did my exhasut 2.25 inch for $85 no tax included everything thats what a full header back exhaust with out cat for 85 + 65 = 150 bux...my car has no cat and is really quite i took mine out for better flow and my car sits so low it doesnt matter no one can chek plus we dont have emissions control in OK yet. i would suggest chekin at poduck local shops they will run that shit hella cheap, i got new rubber hangers and everything, he also complimented my car and took a pic of me burnin off a set of steelies in front of his shop haha
