exhaust tips

i know they are hard to maintain....has any one replaced them with somthing different ? i was thinking of those twin cadillac chrome tips may look good with that ovel treatment on the rear...anyone done it...any other ideas

Re: exhaust tips

Cleaned them up and wire brushed with ss brush on outside and sprayed with clearcoat.
Cleaned inside and sprayed with exhaust black.
