Question How to reset air bag light

Does anybody know how to reset an air bag light on a 1999 cavalier. I replaced both bags and had the module under the passengers seat reprogramed, but the light on the dash stays on. When I first turn the key on the air bag light flashes 7 times then goes off, but then comes back on and stays on. Thanks

upon Crash the "Airbag" sensors will burn a code into the brain. find someone to erase the code and reset it. So you replaced the airbag and its still on. The airbags can be low of pressure "leaking airbags" which is unusual. The collesion sensors are bad. or The airbag "brain" is bad. or you have a cut wire.

Most of the time, when your sure its not a cut wire or sensor, and you have erased the error code its a bad "airbag brain".
