Exclamation Civic Blood Red [HUGE 640*480 pics intensive!]

It's been months since I finish my RX7. Here now is the Initial D Civic SiR build from a Hasegawa Civic VTi/ETi. These pics are taken today after 1 coat of Tamiya TS-49 Bright Red. The rims are just there to hold up the car, I'll be making a set of 5-spoke Mugen rims for this car.

It's suppose to be bloody red, but the camera's flasher is too bright!

Oops, out of focus. Hope you can see the fat Mugen front lip.

Do you think I can get away with these masking tape seat belts?

I couldn't get the SiR Civic, so I had to draw and match my own guage cluster. Center circle is from Revell Integra, and the 2 side circle are hand drawn on scrap pieces of decals.

Nice muffler isn't it? It's from the Fujimi muffler tune set with aluminum foil wrapped around it.

Racing harness hooking up to behind the back seats.

This picture is alittle dark. It's suppose to shows the harness buckles.

Hope you guys like the pics

Looks fine so far, many people use masking tape for seat belts so don't worry about that. The seatbelt buckles look a bit sketchy though IMO - would be well worth investing in some etched one's.

Look 4ward to seeing this one done, do you have a pic of the car from the Anime/comic, i've never seen it???

I got the idea of using masking tapes here, but couldn't find the thread again. Being broke at the moment, scatch building is my only option:o
I should have this one done before next week!

Here's 3D-CG rendered picture. The lip is clearly presented.

This is a cut out from the comic.

Looks like you have done a fine job on the front splitter, but an in focus pic would clarify

Here are some more reference pictures of the EG-6 from ID that i just took, if you need anymore, i should be able to do it for you.

You should make it look like what it did at the end of the race

Okok! I'll try to get some IN focus pics today:finger:
I'm only using my friend's camera. Hope he'll let me use it again.

MaxSE: You're working on this kit too? How's it going with yours?
