need some opinions..refurb items

ok so i finally ditched my crt monitor and got myself a pretty nice 19" LG lcd..but i recently came across a (refurbished) 23" LG monitor with HDTV..vga and other hookups with PIP and remote control..its about $160 more but its refurbed..im thinking about taking this 19" back and getting the 23..im just wondering if u guys would do it and wahts ur take on refurbed items..

well my take on refurbs is that alot of tiems there better ebcause they have to be fulyl rebuilt so alot of there stuff is new. take my xbox. it was a refurb and it ran ebtter then my friends brand new one. his case was shit ect. mine wasnt.

I bought a refurbed Aiwa stereo from BestBuy like 6 years ago for my dad one x-mas and it was okay. My dad could never figure out how to reset the rear speaker volume for surround sound when the power would cut off. He ended up giving it to my brother-in-law and I think he still uses it. So the product was fine but the packaging was pretty sketchy. I bought it in person so that was a plus. My wife just got an exercise bike from a company on the Internet and it came from CA but the box was busted on all four corners and plastic parts were broken. GL

well i returned the 19" and got my eyes on this refurb now..it will be purchased off ebay with insurance and a LG 90 day warranty..doesnt seem so bad right? the monitors orginal value is like $2100..well i dont got too much extra spending cash so when i returned the monitor to bestbuy they said they will be sending me my refund in the mail..so it will be awhile lol my luck the remaining 7 will be sold
