remote turn on

i am going to be installing a amp for my sub. i am thinking about tapping into the remote turn on lead aire that is for the stock amp under the passenger seat. could anyone tell me which wire is the remote turn on lead on the stock amp?

From what I know remote lines between amp and receiver are always blue.

Yes, that is true on mostly any aftermarket head unit or amp, but I've worked on some factory head units that are actually different colors before... I don't have the factory amp in mine though, so I don't know for sure about it.

For a stock stereo the main power is Red (for the memory of the stero.)
For a stock stereo the secondary power/ACC is Yellow (for the ignition switch is turned on.)

Most import cars will have different wiring colors. My eclipse was a bitch to figure out until I got a diagram of the colors. www.the12volt.com has a bunch of shit for car electronics, especially stereo systems. So does the www.installdr.com
