CAI and Cat-Back Exhaust ordered, GotTa CAI installation ?

I ordered my AEM Competition CAI and my SKunk2 cat-back exhaust today. Bad news is, exhaust wont be here for like 2 months cause Skunk2 doesnt put them into production for another 4-6 weeks, ohwell. Good news is CAI will be here next week. Now heres my ?:

How hard will it be to put on my CAI? Do i have to take off my front bumper? I've so far installed my short shift and put a Skunk2 Exhaust on my friends Del Sol, will this be easier than them? Thanx in advance.

Its not hard to put cold air intake. I didn't have to take off my bumper. SO they are gonna make skunk2 exhaust for our REXES??

to install a true cold air, not just a shortram, you would have to take off the bumper to take off the resonator box correctly. You take that out and the filter takes its place there.

I didn't even have to take out my front bumper. I only took the bumper off to take out the box.

if your a hack you do not need to remove the front bumper. just butch it all up & pull the resonator box in pieces.

to do it properly the front bumper must come off. Its not hard to take the bumper off. www.4thgenerationcivc.com see how-to for removal procedure

Lightbulb Hold up - you do NOT need to remove the bumper

I was able to remove my resonator box, in one piece, without removing the bumper.

You do need to remove the two screws back in the wheel well on the end of the bumper. This allows the bumper to drop just enough to stick a 6" extension in where the top of the bumper was and get the hidden bolt off the resonator box. All the others are accessible from under the car (remove the plastic splash guard there in the corner), or under the hood. - If you do this on a nice sunny day, it is easy to see the hidden bolts and stuff behind the bumper. I sat on my ass with the corner light right in front of me and could see it thru the crack created by the saggy bumper. I think that was easier than removing the whole bumper - my $0.02
