Exclamation Is this car worth the money?

Grrrr AF ate my first post... I'll try this again

A small dealer is selling a 91(? see bottom story) DX Hatch with 60some thousand miles, perfect body and paint, excellent condition for $3500. I already checked the price on Edmunds and they said dealer retail of ~3200. I kinda think its worth it because it has virtually NO body flaws and thats rare in NE OH where we have a wonderful thing called salt . What do you all think? Is it worth it for such low mileage and body condition? Opinions please

While I'm at it, I'll tell you a funny little story about this car. I talk to the guy there and he's tellin me all about it and the excellent condition and everything and I ask what year it is. He says it was made in 91 but it has a 92 body style. I'm like WTF!?! They look soooo much different. Thats pretty pitiful for a car salesman. You think you could at least remember what year it is. Oh well. I won't hold it against him :o

When my friend was test driving news cars a couple days ago, The salesperson kept saying the controls on the steering wheel were for the radio. My looks at the controls and goes " thats the cruise control ", salesperson looks back at it... and goes... i think your right

oh BTW... if your looking for a mint car, it sounds like it is.

buy it if you got the cash, but if your just gonna mod the shit out of it anyway, why not get a $300 shell and work up from there?

I work @ a Honda dealer and the sales reps are terrible. they will tell the customer anything to make a deal. then when the bring the car in for service they think we are lieing cause the sales people told them different. 03 accords are sweet. cant wait for the 6-speed V6 coupe to come in. our dealer performed maint. on the test car in motor trend:bandit: i thought was kinda cool. they beat the fuck of it
