89 beretta

i need help i have a 89 2.8 litre beretta i bought for a hundred bucks the body is straight and there is no rust on this car it has no motor in it i have a 3.1 itre motor out of a 94 lumina i looked and the transmission looks like it will line up but not sure what other problems i will run into and if this swap is going to work or if it is worth it

I'm not the greatest with engines or trannys, but I believe the engine/ tranny will work fine. The only thing I remember hearing that must be done is switching the motor mounts, because the Lumina mounts are on top and the Beretta's mounts are on the bottom. Maybe someone else here can confirm it for you. Good luck

Sorry, but this swap will be a pain. The 94 spec engine has 2 crank position sensors, your car only has 1. The intake manifold design and most emissions sensors are not the same, so try to find a Vin-W 2.8 (88-90)or vin-T 3.1 (90-93)
